My favorite story about water is at the best place there is, the beach. Specifically Coney Island. Where I learned how to swim. Now you’re probably thinking “ What's so fun about learning to swim. Everyone learns to swim eventually.” Well, yes, that's true, but for some reason, I have almost always been afraid of water.
When I was about 7 years old, I went to Coney Island with my Mom, Dad, and my two sisters who were at the time, 1 year old. We went to the beach and my dad wanted to teach me how to swim. The first couple of times I fell into the water. I got kind of cold in the water and because of this, we had tried later on before we left. I went back in with my dad and he told me to try. My head was spining, my heart was beating very fast. My dad lift’s me up. Then he drops me. All of a sudden I was almost at swiming level. Then I did it. Just barely, but I did it. I started to swim. It’s what my dad wanted and kind of what I wanted. And now, I’m pretty good at it. I faced my fears and it was definetly worth it.

One water story I remember is when me and my mom went to north carolina with our friends. We stayed in a rental house by the ocean. It had a pool and 5 bedrooms. I really liked the pool, we brought our own floaties that you could lay on top of. It was always really warm.
I was going to the beach and I was in the ocean. I kept diving into the waves. It was really fun and I especially liked diving into the big waves.
The next day I came, it was a sunny day. It was really warm but there weren't much waves there, only really small waves, so I just played on the surfboard and swam around and did much more stuff.
The next thing I knew was that I felt a stinging pain in both my legs. I yelled for help! I knew it was a jellyfish. No one else knew what it was, and they didn't know what to do.
It took a couple days to stop hurting and I still have scars on my legs to remember it by. Later that day we went to the pear and saw a giant stingray.

I was in a hot tube with my dad and my brother. I was in the middle of the hot tub then I went down and I could not get back up. I thought I was going to die. I was worried. I thought I saw the light then an arm pulled me out of the water it was my dad. I was so happy I sat on the sideof that you can sit on. I was scared to death thet day and to this day i am scared of going in the deep end.

When I went to North Carolina, we went to this river. There were these huge boulders so me and my brother wentt to the edge, and he jumped off into the water, I however, did not. The water was as cold as ice! I didn't think that I was going to go into the water because it was so cold, plus, their were minos in the water and i hate swimming with fish. “I am definetly NOT going in the water.” I said The water was hard to see into because there were dark rocks at the bottom. So I had no idea what was down there. And it was kind of scary not knowing what could happen, even though everyone else was swimming.
I sort of felt bad that i was missing out on all tthe fun. So my brother somehow convinced me to go on the rock in the middle of the water. It was really hard to get there because the current was so strong. I had to jump and swim fast enough to get to the rock. Then it was really hard to get on the rock because it was so slippery but I managed to get on.
The water looked pretty because the sun was shining on it. And it was sort of peacful. I sort of forrgot where I was and what was going on around me. Then it hit me...how was I supposed to get off. I was on it for about an hour and I wouldn't budge, then eventually I decided that I would. You could rent tubes to go down the river, so i jumped on one. The current was really strong, and my brother said that it gets worse. So, I got so scared that i jumped off. I swam over to the shallow side, trying not to twist my ankle on the rocks, and eventually I got back.

The Day I Nearly Died
March 26 2020
July 2016. I am on a ferry on my way to Fire Island. It is BLAZING! We are with our friends, Kamilo, Sienna and Denise. We are going to Shawn´s house who is a friend of Denise´s. I heard he has a backyard pool so I wanna jump in as soon as we get there! So once we get to Shawn´s house I am already in my swimming trunks. So me and the other kids jump straight in. Since it is so hot the water feels nice and cool. Not completely cold.
So later on I wanted a cold drink but there were none left and it was still hot so I went back in the pool. I think someone else noticed. So my mum and her friend Denise went to go get some more club soda´s because kids can't drink beer. My mum asked me to come because I don't think she felt safe leaving her 6 year old without her supervision. I said ¨No I wanna stay in the pool!¨ There were tons of people sitting around the pool and were saying things like He's fine and we got him.
So my mum grabbed her wallet, and mum walked out and something made my mum anxious and she told herself Cyrus is fine and there are so many adults sitting around the pool he's fine. But she still felt something was wrong. When she went back she started looking for me. I was nowhere to BE SEEN! No one knew or cared. I was underneath a pool float close to dying. Somehow my Mum knew where I was and pushed the float away and grabbed me and I was crying gasping for air. I said ¨ I couldn't breath!¨ So this apparently didn't haunt me because 20 minutes later I'm back in the pool laughing and smiling. To this day my mum swears she doesn't know how she felt where I was. She also is very paranoid about me going in pools!

INSERT NAME: Devin Tramm
In Bulgaria there is a company literally named Devin. I only know this because my mom is Bulgarian and because I have relatives in Bulgaria and since Devin is a pretty big company it didn't take me long to learn about the company. My family always jokes about how “it’s named after me,” but it's probably just a coincidence that there is a company named Devin and I’m named Devin, but hey who knows.
Yeah, it's pretty weird that there's a water company named Devin and for a while I didn't know it either, even if it is the biggest water company in Bulgaria. Devin is a spring water company and you can go to the place where they get the water and bathe in pools of it, so it's probably the only water company in the world that has a resort.
I first learned about Devin from a big sign and I'm not kidding. I was just walking with my family and then I saw a big sign advertising Devin water. That is how I learned about Devin water and how its name is the same as mine. By the way, my middle name is Arda, which is the name of a river in Bulgaria. Anyway, I was pretty surprised when I learned that a water company had the same name as I did.

My story is a little sad but some parts are funny.
One time I went to my grandparent's apartment with my brother and they had a pool. So we went in the pool and it was dark. why My grandfather and my cousin were watching my brother swimming. Add dialogue
I was doing flips in the water and then I heard my brother drowning, how did you know?I was about 9 but I had learned how to swim when I was 3. I am good at swimming but anyway this is where you tell your storyI saved my brother and here is the funny part. Before we were going to get in the pool my grandfather and my cousin said, “ If your that if my brother drowns, they will jump in the water and get him. Wbut with my little big mind I knew that they would not do that because they had all their clothes and shoes on! Aand guess what? They did not jump in the water but instead they watched me grab him and bring him to the steps. So that is my water story. :)
The place where Devin gets its water is from a town named Devin next to a river named the Devinska river. I'm not kidding there really are all these places named Devin. It's pretty weird that there are all these things and places named Devin and they are all in Bulgaria and that they're pretty much right next to each other after all the Devinska river runs through the town of Devin and Devin water bottles its water in the town of Ddevin. Nnow that's weird. Anyway that's my water story. I hope you like it.

THE GOLDEN HOUR

Woosh! The waves crashed together, the sand prickling around, a soft breeze coming in between; it was the Golden Hour. I was by the ocean in the morning, it was indescribable. It was like a painting with moving colors, overlapping each other, crashing together giving you a calm, warm feeling. It was like you're in some sort of dream, your feet sinking in warm sand, with a tingling feeling here and there.
I rushed over and told Kian (my twin brother) everything that I experienced.” It’s was the golden hour”. Add your conversation maybe
The golden hour only happens at dawn and dusk, or sunset and sunrise. The golden hour usually only happens around the first hour of light after sunrise and the last hour of light before sunset. Once you see the golden hour it changes your life. I was in Barcelona when it happened.
The sea was so still and calm then. I woke up early in the morning and couldn’t go to sleep. I decided to head to the ocean so I could relax. Add more here
When I got there, there was a small breeze, and the ocean crashing against the shore. I went and called my mom from where- again add dialogue and by the time we got there, there it was; the golden hour.
We dipped our feet in the water. It was warm and soft. After that, my mom and I started drawing in the sand and letting the water wash it away. Add detailsNext, we wrote our wishes. Add internal, without adding your wish, of course(I’m not going to say my wish because then it won't come true.)

My story about water is about when me and my family went to New Orleans. If you don’t know, New Orleans has major thunder and lightning storms which comes with a bunch of RAIN. So it was one of thoses day with lots and lots of rain. W, and we had these tickets to go on a boat and see alligators. Add lots and lots of internal thought here and dialogue from the WHOLE family
We were waiting in our rental car for our friends to come. Me and my brothers and sister were watching a movie and we heard lightning and thunder. I started crying add dialogue between you and your siblings Abecause at the time I was 6 and I was afraid of lightning. My mom tried to calm me down more dialoguebut I couldn’t. Suddenly, then right before my eyes lightning hit a puddle right in front of our rental car. I stopped crying and everyone was dead silent. I’m absolutely, positively sure there’s much more to say here!!
When our friends came I could tell all of us were still in shock. How? Give a show please! To this day I remember it like it was yesterday and I………...finish this thought. THE END

Drown

“Splash splash” as I tried to get out as fast as I could,but the waves were too strong! I was slowly sinking down. I alway liked swimming and liked to take risks. I wasn’t always like that. When I was little I always stayed close to my parents. When I was 6 year old my family went to a water park and it was the first time ever, I was filled with joy. I wondered what it would be like and what we would do when we got there? I had so much in my mind, I mean who wouldn’t be excited to go to a waterpark for the first time. This will be a new experience for me.
When we got there I got into my bathing suit and ran to the pool. I thought all the pools were the same but they weren’t. One of them was called the Lazy River because you sit on it and float down it. It was supposed to be a river that goes in a circel but you get wet. There waterfall goes down unexpeted so you don’t know when you get wet, and there were other’s to. The lazy river was supost to be lazy but my brother and I made it a race, we had to go to the end without getting wet. The thing I like is that you can stay there as long as you want. It was really great but we left to go to another section.
There was another called the water factory it wasn’t a pool or anthing it was a place where you can prank others, the reson I had fun was because I got to prank my brother and my parents, I always tell them to stand in a spot and I will run into the spot and press the button and “SPLASH” they got wet, I was up on the top laghting half to death. I laght to early. My brother was on top in the three floor throw a bucket on me, I got really angrey, in my mind it said “this calls for revang” and so I did. When my brother was walking I pulled something curious. What will it do, well it shot out water at someone, and guessed who I shot? My BROTHER!! I was shocked when I saw the preson I hit, I just slowly walked away, like nothing happened, I don’t think my brother knew that it was me. Also, what I like about the place is that I made friends because we prank each other. I forgot her name, but we both had the best time. Then I had to go. My parents wanted to go to some other pool.
Next pool we went was a regual pool at least I though, there was a lot of people but good thing this pool was long and really wide, there more space I went in I was still learning how to swim my brother and i was playing tag in the water, I know how can you play tag in water well we swim, the tager can’t see if he/she is not swiming only the others can see swimimg or not, i tock this game for helping me swim, but I keep on getting TAG! I was so angry, I felt like I was going to explod. Wouldn’t you get angry if you keep on being it, I mean yeah I will. My brother was hit so I swam as fast as I could, “ BUZ!!” I turned around and saw everyone going to the deep end, so my parents and I went to see. Then there a big wave coming towards me I got scared, it was like sothing that going to take me away, when I got out my mom came and said she will be so we swam in the spot I felt unfrbel I hold on a ralls for when it come I hold on, the wave got bigger every second, I was shaking felt like i was going to let go, then when it was over I was relif, it seems like my family enjoyed it I did I was playing with my parents then “BUZ!!” I heard it. My heart started beating so vast like trying to run away. My parents went to the deep so I stayed out, I started to get bored. I wanted to be with my parents, what I didn’t know would have been the end for me.

Flip! Flop! Flip! The wet flippers we were wearing sounded. I was with my sister Jillian and some other friends. Jazmine, Evan, Kai, and Espn. We were in a place called Cancun which was in Mexico. We were going to enter his huge cave where you can swim through. We had to wear flippers and life jackets.
When we entered, it was cold but refreshing and all of us swam in a group. There were ropes on the sides of the caves, which was kind of helpful. Squeak Squeak! “What was that?” Jillian asked. We all looked around and saw animals hanging upside down on the roof of the cave. “Bats!!! It was really scary at first but we got used to it. We heard constant squeaky noises which I knew came from the bats but I heard someone say “Was that an underwater rat?!?!” I couldn’t help but chuckle. Underwater rats aren’t a thing!

One day a couple of years ago when I was nine me and my family went to Puerto Rico to celebrate my grandma's dad's birthday. My whole family went because it was his 93 birthday and he said he wanted to see everyone.
Through the couple of days I was there I stayed at my aunt's house up the hill with some of my cousins and my siblings.
After three days we went to this beautiful hotel it was very big and it had a large pool and there was a beach next to the pool, the first day I just stayed on my bed because the floor was freezing but the next day when I woke up I saw everyone in bathing suits and they told me to get ready because it was going to be a long day.
I didn’t know what they meant so I just got changed, then my cousin pulled my arm and we ran to the elevator. When we got out I saw my family and they were on the beach.
“Come on let's go” my cousin said as I stood there shocked “MIA!” she tugged my arm “ what are you doing” I asked “ I want to go to the beach and you're just standing there” then she pulled my arm before i could say anything.
“ANAYA!!!” I yelled as she threw me in the water “ why did you do that,I cant swim dumb dumb” she just laughed and went in the water, as soon as i said anything i felt something huge over me and it pushed me to the shore it felt like I was drowning then i felt something grab me by my wrist.
“What happened?” Anaya asked “ THIS ALL HAPPENED BECAUSE OF YOU!” I yelled at her. I looked at her and I could tell I hurt her feelings. “ I'm sorry” I whispered . She then hugged me and started crying. I felt bad about what I said to her but it was true.
Later that day around 7:00pm we went back to the beach and we went looking for shells i found this large pink shell ( sadly i lost it) and my cousins found regular white shells my cousin jayden came next to me and said “ Mia how come your the only one who got a pretty shell” he asked I replied with “ I dont know im just lucky” then I patted his head as he pouted.
Around 8:00 pm we got changed from our wet clothes and put on some new clothes. My mom said “ Mia put on some regular clothes the family is going out for dinner” “okay mommy” I said.

After all of us got out of the cave, the adults and the kids decided to go to this thing where there are two long ropes parallel from each other and you would hold on to the top rope and you were basically walking on the bottom rope. Also, I have to mention that these ropes were over water but were about three feet away from the water and six feet away from the bottom of the ocean. I remember being too short for it so I was almost hanging, but Espn who was shorter than me, was hanging off. He was swinging like a monkey! He got yelled at a little because he wasn’t even trying to reach the bottom rope.
I went in my mind was telling me to don’t go in and go in and was so worry what will happen I already felt like I was taking away by the water, when I got into the deepes end for me I couldn’t stand there I felt alone like I’m just something that no one care so I wanted to be with my family be a full family a giant wave came i got terified I try to swim back but it was to late... It got me. I had been trying swiming back but every wave got me closer to the deepes, the thing I’m still mad is that NOBODY NOTIC! I mean they all kept swiming and ignor a little kid WHY I will help not ignor it! “SPLASH SPLASH” as I tried to get out as fast as I could,but the waves were too strong! I held my breath, then the biggest wave came “SPLASH!” I slowly sank, throwing a small rock. I couldn’t hold my breath any longer I thought it was the end but a lifeguard saw me and came to rescue me, when I open my eyes I saw my parents they ask if I was ok I told them I was then they hug me really tight, my parents didn’t want to lose me,
